Strengthen the weak hands, And make firm the feeble knees. Say to those who are fearful- hearted, “Be strong ,do not fear. Behold, your God will come with vengeance, With the recompense of God; He will come and save you.” Isaiah 35:3-4 One certain thing in this world is that it is ever-changing. And the closer we get to the coming of the Lord, the faster things will change. In just the last 4-5 years we have experienced dramatic changes and tragedies that have radically affected how we feel about life, our government, world affairs, travel and our perception of safety and security. I hear more and more frequently that there is no longer anywhere safe in this world. That may be true, but I do know of a very safe place to dwell. It is a place not of this world. We can dwell in the safety of the arms and heart of God. As the Lord’s chosen… His mighty men and women of valor, we are to dwell in the beautiful safe place of his arms and help others get there too. In Isaiah God commands that we strengthen the weak hands and make firm the feeble knees. Not only that, but when we hear fearful statements, we are to say to them: Be Strong, don’t fear! Behold, your God will come with vengeance, with the recompense of God, He will come and save you! Yes, we are to stand without the fear and dread that holds others captive and make the announcements and proclamations of what our God wishes to do in these days. We are to be just like Jesus when He walked the earth and proclaim the Kingdom of God, which is Righteous Peace and Joy in the Holy Spirit! Outside of our Lord, there will be no safety, no Peace, no Joy – we must bid others to enter into His Ark of safety. Yes! Even though we are experiencing the same great changes, and, Child of God, there will be huge changes in the weeks and months to come, He wants to pour out His love, salvation, peace, joy and healing through us. Therefore, we MUST be certain that all that we believe is built on solid ground. We must do an inventory and let go now of anything that is not solid ROCK in Christ our Lord. For the Lord is telling me that nothing is going to remain the same… hear this, NOTHING is going to remain the same, except that which is built totally upon Him. Those Rock solid things that are built upon Him, He will make even stronger. Those things not of Him, He is about to destroy for our own good. So, prepare yourselves now – Ask the Lord to sanctify you and set you free from all fears including confusion and worry, so that you may say to those who are fearful hearted “Be strong, Don’t Fear!” Simcha Shalom, Cheryl (Rejoice in Peace) |
