“The Truth about the current Confusion”

Scripture given describing what God is doing right now:
Genesis 11:1 - 9 (NKJV) 1Now the whole earth had one language and one speech. 2And it came to pass, as they
journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar, and they dwelt there. 3Then they said to one
another, “Come, let us make bricks and bake them thoroughly.” They had brick for stone, and they had asphalt for
mortar. 4And they said, “Come, let us build ourselves a city, and a tower whose top is in the heavens; let us make a
name for ourselves, lest we be scattered abroad over the face of the whole earth.” 5But the LORD came down to see
the city and the tower which the sons of men had built. 6And the LORD said, “Indeed the people are one and they all
have one language, and this is what they begin to do; now nothing that they propose to do will be withheld from them.
7Come, let Us go down and there confuse their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech.” 8So
the LORD scattered them abroad from there over the face of all the earth, and they ceased building the city.
9Therefore its name is called Babel, because there the LORD confused the language of all the earth; and from there
the LORD scattered them abroad over the face of all the earth.
A promise to the Remnant:
Exodus 23:20 - 33 (NKJV) 20“Behold, I send an Angel before you to keep you in the way and to bring you into the
place which I have prepared. 21Beware of Him and obey His voice; do not provoke Him, for He will not pardon your
transgressions; for My name is in Him. 22But if you indeed obey His voice and do all that I speak, then I will be an
enemy to your enemies and an adversary to your adversaries. 23For My Angel will go before you and bring you in to
the Amorites and the Hittites and the Perizzites and the Canaanites and the Hivites and the Jebusites; and I will cut
them off. 24You shall not bow down to their gods, nor serve them, nor do according to their works; but you shall utterly
overthrow them and completely break down their sacred pillars. 25“So you shall serve the LORD your God, and He will
bless your bread and your water. And I will take sickness away from the midst of you. 26No one shall suffer
miscarriage or be barren in your land; I will fulfill the number of your days. 27“I will send My fear before you, I will cause
confusion among all the people to whom you come, and will make all your enemies turn their backs to you. 28And I will
send hornets before you, which shall drive out the Hivite, the Canaanite, and the Hittite from before you. 29I will not
drive them out from before you in one year, lest the land become desolate and the beasts of the field become too
numerous for you. 30Little by little I will drive them out from before you, until you have increased, and you inherit the
land. 31And I will set your bounds from the Red Sea to the sea, Philistia, and from the desert to the River. For I will
deliver the inhabitants of the land into your hand, and you shall drive them out before you. 32You shall make no
covenant with them, nor with their gods. 33They shall not dwell in your land, lest they make you sin against Me. For if
you serve their gods, it will surely be a snare to you.”
Prophetic Release 2-6-09
The Lord says:
There is a sense of confusion, frustration and fear over My people. Tell them not to be worried or fearful for I am
tearing down old ways, old thoughts, old habits, old structures and foundations made by man.
The feeling that you are sinking, unsteady, in quicksand or ready to fail or fall is simply that what you have built upon is
not all part of My Kingdom.
As a house may be placed on a truck and moved off an old foundation to a new one, so I am moving you off of an old
sinking foundation to a new one. New to you, but built on My Ancient Ways that are Rock solid and will remain for all
eternity.
Psalms 18:30 - 32 (NLT) 30 As for God, his way is perfect. All the LORD’S promises prove true. He is a shield for all
who look to him for protection. 31For who is God except the LORD? Who but our God is a solid rock? 32God arms me
with strength; he has made my way safe.
As you are moved from sinking to solid ground in all areas of your life, think not on the losses, but on what you are and
will gain as I restructure your lives and bring My order to every aspect.
Confusion has entered not only because of fear or enemy attack, but because of YOU and through YOU. Through
your prayers, there is confusion being sent into the enemy camp. And, I am confounding those who think themselves
wise and have built up towers and idols for themselves.
1 Corinthians 1:27 - 31 (NKJV) 27But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and
God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty; 28and the base things of
the world and the things which are despised, God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the
things that are, 29that no flesh should glory in His presence. 30But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for
us wisdom from God—and righteousness and sanctification and redemption— 31that, as it is written, “He who glories,
let him glory in the LORD.”
The more you are intertwined with the ways of the enemy and the things of this world, the harder it will be for you, as
the confusion will affect you in those areas you are entwined and your ways still entrenched in the world will be
confounded.
Galatians 5:1 (NKJV) 1Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled
again with a yoke of bondage.
2 Timothy 2:4 (NKJV) 4No one engaged in warfare entangles himself with the affairs of this life, that he may please him
who enlisted him as a soldier.
(Note from Rev Cheryl: In essence our own prayers and fasting are causing the sense of confusion – while God is not
the author of confusion, we can become confused by our own flesh or the railings of the enemy. When God begins to
drive out the enemy or deal with our fleshy ways we can feel very insecure)
The Lord says -
In all areas that you have surrendered to Me, those areas you will feel strong and solid. You shall not be moved from
those truths you have received from My word. These shall sustain you through this time of tearing down, confusion and
confounding of man’s wisdom.
2 Timothy 2:15 - 19 (NKJV) 15Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be
ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 16But shun profane and idle babblings, for they will increase to more
ungodliness. 17And their message will spread like cancer. Hymenaeus and Philetus are of this sort, 18who have
strayed concerning the truth, saying that the resurrection is already past; and they overthrow the faith of some.
19Nevertheless the solid foundation of God stands, having this seal: “The Lord knows those who are His,” and, “Let
everyone who names the name of Christ depart from iniquity.”
Repent therefore that you may be totally free of the ways of the enemy and that you may un-entangle yourself from the
ways of the world. Yes, you must choose not to be entangle in worldly ways and pleasures. Choose My ways and the
entanglements shall fall away as chaff in the wind.
James 3:14 - 18 (NKJV) 14But if you have bitter envy and self-seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the
truth. 15This wisdom does not descend from above, but is earthly, sensual, demonic. 16For where envy and self-
seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there. 17But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then
peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy. 18Now the fruit
of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.
Then, suddenly, as if it were all along, you shall be standing firmly on My foundations and working within My structures.
For as I tear down, I also build up. Walls that prevented you are being removed. Walls that protect you are being built
up. Towers from which the enemy attacked are being torn down. Towers that are strongholds of My Presence into
which you can run are being built up. Man’s systems and ways are being removed from people. My Kingdom is here
and is being established amongst you.
You will see much upheaval, not only in your land and structures, but in the church, for I am about to vomit out those
who are lukewarm. And, I am about to throw those who tolerate Jezebel into a sickbed, and I am about to remove
leaders who are blind and naked and are leading My sheep to hell. Yes, I have given them much grace and much time
to repent before Me but they have chosen the structures of the kingdoms of the earth and have forsaken the building
up of My Kingdom. They will not listen to Me and the doors of their ministries shall close, whether in spirit or natural,
they shall close.
When a door is closed that no man can open up, there is also a door opened that no man can shut. As the old doors
slam shut, the new doors will open. Behold I set an open door before you. Walk through in the strength I give. Walk
through in My Power and be prepared to enter into new realms of My love.
Fear not, dear children, for I have seen your struggle and your suffering and I know the deep secrets and desires of
your hearts.
Philippians 4:6 - 8 (NKJV) 6Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let
your requests be made known to God; 7and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your
hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. 8Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble,
whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if
there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.
You are pleasing to Me! And, be comforted that those things with which you struggle, that are displeasing to Me, I am
diligent to reveal them that you may be free. For My love for you runs deep. I will refine you and transform you. No
failure or lack can be found in those who hear My voice, heed My word, take up their cross and follow after Me.
Romans 8:27 - 30 (NLT) 27And the Father who knows all hearts knows what the Spirit is saying, for the Spirit pleads
for us believers in harmony with God’s own will. 28And we know that God causes everything to work together for the
good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them. 29For God knew his people in
advance, and he chose them to become like his Son, so that his Son would be the firstborn, with many brothers and
sisters. 30And having chosen them, he called them to come to him. And he gave them right standing with himself, and
he promised them his glory.
Romans 5:3 - 5 (NLT) 3We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they are good for
us—they help us learn to endure. 4And endurance develops strength of character in us, and character strengthens
our confident expectation of salvation. 5And this expectation will not disappoint us. For we know how dearly God loves
us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love.
Mark 8:34 - 37 (NKJV) 34When He had called the people to Himself, with His disciples also, He said to them, “Whoever
desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. 35For whoever desires to save
his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake and the gospel’s will save it. 36For what will it profit a man if he
gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? 37Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?
This you are doing. You are bearing your cross and you are following after Me. Your reward is near to you. My
Presence will replace the confusion, frustration and fear.
Cling to Me now in the midst of the confusion and tearing down of what holds back My people from serving Me and
worshipping Me with their whole hearts.
Psalms 16:8 - 11 (NKJV) 8 I have set the LORD always before me; Because He is at my right hand I shall not be
moved. 9 Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoices; My flesh also will rest in hope. 10 For You will not leave my
soul in Sheol, Nor will You allow Your Holy One to see corruption. 11You will show me the path of life; In Your presence
is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.
Don’t you know how I long to fill you? Don’t you know how I am protecting you and caring for you? You are hidden in
My quiver. You are safe and secure enveloped all around by My love.
As the spiritual famine in your nation and city ends, there will be fullness of joy at My feasting table not man’s.
Wait just a little longer and you shall see My goodness drip from your rooftops.
Trust Me and Me alone! Says the Lord
Proverbs 3
5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;
6 In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct your paths.
7 Do not be wise in your own eyes;
Fear the LORD and depart from evil.
8 It will be health to your flesh,
And strength to your bones.
Psalms 23:1 - 6 (NKJV)
1The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. 2 He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the
still waters. 3 He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake. 4 Yea, though I
walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they
comfort me. 5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs
over. 6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the LORD
Forever.
