Adoration - the Doorway to Glory

We are the Instruments - Prophetic Teaching
Rev. Cheryl Birch - November 2006

The Lord wants you to experience A New Kind of Worship where you are the instruments of Praise,
Worship and Adoration

Worship is not ever suppose to take on the role of entertainment.

The Spirit of God is urging us to stop being part of an audience watching what is happening and listening
to the music – Instead during worship you are to be the choir and the instruments are your voices, hands
clapping, and feet tapping…

As we become the very instrument in God’s hand of worship and adoration, doors open in heaven that no
man could open and no man can shut…

When we go through that door there is an inexpressible place in the Lord.  It's a door that we must deeply
long to go through or it is never attained.

When Daniel went through that door, he fell down in a faint and the Angel of the Lord touched him and
revived him. Daniel 8:18, 10:18

When Isaiah went through that door all he could say was “Woe is me, I am a man of unclean lips.” Isaiah 6

When John went through that door he too fell as if dead for the inexpressible awe of what he
experienced…Revelation 1:17

Each one of these were in the Spirit… worshipping the Lord

Peter too was caught up in the inexpressible presence of the Lord and he wrote… 1 Peter 1:6-8 (NKJV)
In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials,
that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested
by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ, whom having not seen
you love. Though now you do not see Him, yet believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory,

And Paul wrote about his experience in 2 Corinthians 12:1 -5 (NKJV)
I
t is doubtless not profitable for me to boast. I will come to visions and revelations of the Lord:
I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago—whether in the body I do not know, or whether out of the
body I do not know, God knows—such a one was caught up to the third heaven. And I know such a man—
whether in the body or out of the body I do not know, God knows—how he was caught up into Paradise
and heard inexpressible words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter. Of such a one I will boast; yet of
myself I will not boast, except in my infirmities.

The way to that inexpressible place in the Lord is to worship Him with all you heart and all your mind,
always concentrating solely on the Lord.

Music ministers are in place to offer songs, to get worship started, but they are not to humanly work up
anything. It should always be the Holy Spirit who moves upon us all. Worship is individual, even when
there is a corporate gathering. It is up to you to yield and become an instrument of praise, worship and
adoration of the Lord Jesus as His Spirit leads us.

Praise and thanksgiving causes us to enter His courts, then worship takes us into the Holy Place, but we
must move beyond worship and declaration of His goodness to Adoration of Him alone. That is what gives
us entrance into the Holy of Holies and there we find the inexpressible ecstasy of His very presence.
Adoration is what is missing in most worship services.

Many in the church use the word glory quite freely, but most often in the United States all we have
experienced is whiffs and puffs of glory. These puffs issue forth as the door of heaven opens when we
happen upon a song that takes us into adoration…but,  it’s so temporary and it Lord longs for us to stay in
adoration and experience His awesome presence more often.

I want with all my heart to not just experience a whiff or a puff of His presence – I want Him to so enjoy our
steadfast adoration of Him that He lifts us into that Holy Cloud of His unspeakable inexpressible presence.

Sometimes we must contend with forces trying to stop us from reaching our goal and intense warfare
songs with drums, shakers and tambourines combined with marching or dancing are sung to move those
demonic roadblocks out of the way… When the road blocks move, that brings a sense of victory.
Our tendency is to stop at the warfare victory thinking we have arrived in the Holy of Holies, but all we
have done is caused the door to open in the heavenlies that leads to the Holy of Holies.

After the warfare we must return to worship and adoration of our King…and respond to His invitation to
enter His Chambers of love. This is the place of ecstasy. This is the joys of intimacy with our Groom.
(Song of Solomon) and knowing the great pleasure He takes in us. This is the supernatural place of
grace, miracles and endless love, joy and peace. It is the realm of Glory.

It is time that we stopped relying on someone else to stir our hearts to enter His chambers of love!
It is time we stopped being an audience and started participating in the wonders of worshipping our King!

He’s calling "Come up here my beloved!" Will you join Him?
