The Lava is on the Way.... are you headed up Mt. Zion?
The Lava is on the Way...are you headed up Mt. Zion?
July 2007 Rev Cheryl Birch

I am so very excited over the time we are entering in history.  There has never been a time more pregnant with the
promises of God. In fact, the Bride of Christ is very pregnant with the plans, purposes and power of God and our enemy,
Satan, knows it. (Revelation 12: 1-3)

The voice of the Lord is calling out to those of us who are pregnant with His promises to come up to the place where He is
to give us new birth. (Micah 4:10, Zacharia 2:7) We must continue, or start the journey, up Mt. Zion to birth these
promises in the safety of His glory where the Enemy cannot see or touch us or destroy the new birth. (Isaiah 66:7-9,
1Thessalonians 5:3-6)

This is NOT A TIME TO REST SPIRITUALLY or to let down our guard! There’s an EMERGENCY in the spirit. (Joel 2:1)
We MUST get to higher spiritual ground. (Romans 13:11-14, 1Corinthians 15:34, Ephesians 5:14, 15) This current battle
is about to be lost by the enemy and he knows it.
(1 Chronicles 11:14, 1 Corinthians 15:57) So, he has mounted all of his energy to launch one more assault upon the
Bride before his certain defeat. He wants to take out as many of us as he can before the birthing begins.

Recently, in a dream, the Lord showed me the body of Christ walking along a narrow path and right behind them is a wall
of Lava pouring out from the bowels of the earth. It is red hot and consuming everything it touches. (Genesis 19:28, Job
41:20-21, Revelation 9:17-18) Those that stayed on the path with their eyes fixed on the Lord were steadily climbing.
They made it to higher ground where the Lava could not touch them. (Isaiah 35:10) Those that were complacent and
apathetic, rigidly religious, or would not let go of past hurts or sins, though they knew they should, those that refused to
listen to God or obey His Word, were not looking at the Lord. They were fixated on their own hurts and troubles. They
were not moving upward. They were idly sitting along the path or not paying attention to where they were going. Many fell
and the Lava overtook them. (Revelation 12:13-14, Jeremiah 4:6)

As I watched, the wall of Lava came closer and closer to the saints on the path. Many who had their eyes fixed on the
Lord, heard His voice of mercy and felt His compassionate heart. They were sent back by Him to the ones sitting down or
wandering off the path to warn them and help them. (Ezekiel 2:4, Galatians 4:19) A few of those stragglers listened,
repented, received healing and began the climb to safety…sadly, many ignored them.

After a short time the Lord called to the “rescuers” and told them to come up to safety and give birth. They wept as they
walked away from the ones who did not listen. But they had to go, or risk being overtaken by Lava themselves. As they
left they called out “Come with us!”

Still the stragglers did not listen and suddenly the Lava came upon them. (Psalm 81:12) When it touched the feet of the
sleepers, some awoke and began to run toward Mt. Zion and they  were pulled to safety by the Lord… (Matthew 14:31,
Romans 10:21) The others, despite the agonizing pain, would not head for high ground. They were consumed by the
Lava (2 Kings 17:14-18). What had been the church was suddenly no more.

On Mt. Zion the songs of the joy of new birth resounded. There was such joy and rejoicing as I have never before seen.
Astounding power came upon these saints. When the lava was cooled, the saints came down and began to share with all
who would listen what they had birthed. (Micah 4:2-10) In the midst of the ashes of the church they brought the beauty of
the Lord. In the midst of the mourning over the great tribulation that had overtaken many there was the oil of gladness
(Isaiah 61:3). For the wounds there was great healing. After that, many thousands of people received Jesus as the
Gospel was preached with miracles, signs & wonders.

Are you listening to the emergency call of the Lord to come up higher? Or, are you one of the folks who has let the cares
or fleshy desires of this world overcome you with depression, complacency and apathy. Are your eyes off the path of
righteousness and looking at the world, or yourself or others, instead of God?

It’s time to repent, let go of past wounds, deal with pride, be healed and to begin to head for the hills where you can give
birth to the gifts and callings God has placed in you. If you are headed for Mt. Zion, the Lava cannot touch you!!

“Come Up here, my Beloved!“ Says the Lord. (Exodus 24:1&12, Revelation 4:1, 11:12) In the glory of His presence is the
only safe place to be as the amazing prophecies of His word come to pass on the earth and the Enemy rails in retaliation.

We are on the very cusp of the culmination of all time, as we know it. This is a place in history like no other and YOU have
been hand picked to be part of His end-time’s army who will bring in the harvest of all harvests! Come, let us go up to the
mountain of the Lord. (Isaiah 2:3, Micah 4:2)

JOY and SHALOM! Cheryl
