"TRUST ME!" says the Lord. For God alone my soul waits in silence, for my hope is from him. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I shall not be shaken. On God rests my deliverance and my honor; my mighty rock, my refuge is in God. Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your heart before him; God is a refuge for us. Selah Psalm 62:5-8 The changing world we live in can be a frightening and confusing place at times. Suddenly we can lose our job, our child can announce they are getting married, we can get a promotion to a job that takes up all of our spare time, illness can strike, a loved one can die unexpectedly or a natural disaster can wipe out everything we own. We can be affected by war and rumors or war. We can get an inheritance and financial responsibility we never had before. Gas prices can skyrocket and just paying for transportation can put us in a difficult financial position. The Stock Market can plummet and make us poor or rise and make us rich. Sometimes it seems that the only thing certain is that there is absolutely nothing certain about this world we live in. In fact, you can count on the fact that our world is changing and changing rapidly...nothing is normal and secure because God is working out His plans for all of us. Because you belong to Him, change is happening because you are being positioned for greatness in God. As a Warrior for the Lord you need to begin to look at changes, even ones that seem disasters, as part of the repositioning of God. If you don't live in the right city, you are about to get a job transfer. If you are not attending the church the Lord wants you in, you are about to get very dissatisfied with your church. If you are in the wrong ministry, God is about to close it down so that you will move into His new thing. Look beyond the uncertainty and change. There is something supernatural going on in the body of Christ. We are being positioned and prepared for an outpouring of great magnitude...an outpouring of Glory. As Warriors of the Lord we have an advantage in these changing scary times that others do not...we have trust in our God to see us through and to use us to His Glory. He is faithful and sure. Our refuge and fortress in times of trouble. When the earth is shaken and the mountains are falling into the sea, we can look to the one who made us and know that He is near. His hand is outstretched to us and with faith and trust in Him, we will not only weather the storms of life, but prosper in the midst of them. As others see us strong in our faith and prospering, they will be drawn to the ONE in whom we trust...Look up, the fields are white unto harvest! We are being changed and molded and reposition for the Greatest harvest ever! Trust Him as He prepares you and moves you into the fields you have been ordained to reap.\ from the foundations of the earth. Simcha Shalom, Cheryl (Rejoice in Peace) |
