Prophetic Teaching
You are My rocks
Rev Cheryl Birch

1 Peter 2:1 - 10 (NKJV) 1Therefore, laying aside all malice, all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and all evil speaking,  2as newborn
babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby,  3if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is gracious.
4Coming to Him as to a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God and precious, 5you also, as living stones,
are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.
6Therefore it is also contained in the Scripture, “Behold, I lay in Zion A chief cornerstone, elect, precious, And he who
believes on Him will by no means be put to shame.” 7Therefore, to you who believe, He is precious; but to those who are
disobedient, “The stone which the builders rejected Has become the chief cornerstone,” 8and “A stone of stumbling And a
rock of offense.” They stumble, being disobedient to the word, to which they also were appointed. 9But you are a chosen
generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called
you out of darkness into His marvelous light; 10who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not
obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy.

The Lord says to the Remnant…

And, I say you are my rocks and with My rocks I shall build My church in this city.

For a  church has been built here, but it is not totally Mine and I desire to build a church that is spotless and wrinkle free, a
church built without human hands, one formed by My own Hand.

Matthew 16:16 - 19 (NKJV)
16Simon Peter answered and said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” 17Jesus
answered and said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My
Father who is in heaven.  18And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of
Hades shall not prevail against it.  19And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth
will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”

Ephesians 2:19 - 22 (NKJV) 19Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints
and members of the household of God,  20having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ
Himself being the chief cornerstone,  21in whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the
Lord,  22in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.

1 Corinthians 3:9 (NKJV) 9For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, you are God’s building.

Acts 7:48 - 50 (NKJV) 48“However, the Most High does not dwell in temples made with hands, as the prophet says: 49
‘Heaven is My throne,     And earth is My footstool.     What house will you build for Me? says the LORD,     Or what is the place
of My rest? 50    Has My hand not made all these things?

Ephesians 5:25 - 27 (NKJV)
25Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her,
26that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word,  27that He might present her to Himself a
glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish.

The Lord says…
Forget the former things, the former ways and forge ahead into the new thing I am doing. For have I not said that a door is
open before you? Now, take courage for you are mighty men and women of valor. Take courage and step through this door
that I have opened.

Joshua 1:6 - 9 (NKJV)
6Be strong and of good courage, for to this people you shall divide as an inheritance the land which I
swore to their fathers to give them.  7Only be strong and very courageous, that you may observe to do according to all the law
which Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may prosper wherever
you go.  8This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may
observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good
success.  9Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD
your God is with you wherever you go.”

Judges 6:11 - 16 (NKJV) 11Now the Angel of the LORD came and sat under the terebinth tree which was in Ophrah, which
belonged to Joash the Abiezrite, while his son Gideon threshed wheat in the winepress, in order to hide it from the
Midianites.  12And the Angel of the LORD appeared to him, and said to him, “The LORD is with you, you mighty man of valor!”
13Gideon said to Him, “O my lord, if the LORD is with us, why then has all this happened to us? And where are all His
miracles which our fathers told us about, saying, ‘Did not the LORD bring us up from Egypt?’ But now the LORD has forsaken
us and delivered us into the hands of the Midianites.” 14Then the LORD turned to him and said, “Go in this might of yours,
and you shall save Israel from the hand of the Midianites. Have I not sent you?” 15So he said to Him, “O my Lord, how can I
save Israel? Indeed my clan is the weakest in Manasseh, and I am the least in my father’s house.” 16And the LORD said to
him, “Surely I will be with you, and you shall defeat the Midianites as one man.”

The Lord says…
Think not too little of yourself. For again I say you are My rocks. Think not too little of yourselves, so that you remain the same.
I require change.

Humbleness before Me does NOT require debasement of yourself or denying and ignoring the gifts and talents that I have
given you.

Don’t curse what I have made!

For I have fearfully and wonderfully made you. I have knit you together in your mother’s womb. I chose to die for you. I shed My
own blood for your sake. I bought you with the price of my own blood. I have called you. I have chosen you.

Psalms 139:13 - 18 (NKJV)
13For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother’s womb. 14 I will praise You,
for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works,  And that my soul knows very well. 15  My frame was not
hidden from You,  When I was made in secret, And skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. 16 Your eyes saw my
substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written, The days fashioned for me, When as yet there were
none of them. 17  How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How great is the sum of them! 18 If I should count
them, they would be more in number than the sand;     When I awake, I am still with You.

The Lord says…
I have made you holy and righteous. As you repent before Me and humble yourself and rely upon Me, I lovingly cleanse you. I
am proud of you.

I have predestined you to do good works for Me. Therefore, stop and meditate upon what you are saying about yourself, what
you are thinking about yourself and your abilities.

Romans 8:29 - 37
29For whom He foreknew, He also pre-destined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might
be the firstborn among many brethren. 30Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He
also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified. 31What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us,who
can be against us?  32He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also
freely give us all things?  33Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies. 34Who is he who
condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes
intercession for us. 35Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or
nakedness, or peril, or sword?  36As it is written: “For Your sake we are killed all day long; We are accounted as sheep for the
slaughter.”37Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.

Ephesians 1:5 - 12 (NKJV) 5having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good
pleasure of His will, 6to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved. 7In Him we have
redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace  8which He made to abound
toward us in all wisdom and prudence,  9having made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure
which He purposed in Himself,  10that in the dispensation of the fullness of the times He might gather together in one all
things in Christ, both which are in heaven and which are on earth—in Him.  11In Him also we have obtained an inheritance,
being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will,12that we who
first trusted in Christ should be to the praise of His glory.

Isaiah 44:2 - 3 2 Thus says the LORD who made you  And formed you from the womb, who will help you:  ‘Fear not, O Jacob
My servant; And you, Jeshurun, whom I have chosen. 3 For I will pour water on him who is thirsty, And floods on the dry
ground; I will pour My Spirit on your descendants, And My blessing on your offspring;

The Lord says…
Have I not told you in My word that you can do all things through the strength I give you? (Philippians 4:13)

Then why are you fearful and why do you curse yourself and negate the work I am doing in your life by speaking death? Stop
thinking and speaking death!

Speak life and blessing, not death and cursing. Stand in the knowledge that because I dwell in you, you are more than a
conqueror in every situation. You are a jewel in My Crown.

Jeremiah 1:1 - 8 (NKJV)
1The words of Jeremiah the son of Hilkiah, of the priests who were in Anathoth in the land of
Benjamin, 2to whom the word of the LORD came in the days of Josiah the son of Amon, king of Judah, in the thirteenth year
of his reign.  3It came also in the days of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, king of Judah, until the end of the eleventh year of
Zedekiah the son of Josiah, king of Judah, until the carrying away of Jerusalem captive in the fifth month. 4Then the word of
the LORD came to me, saying: 5 “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I
ordained you a prophet to the nations.” 6Then said I: “Ah, Lord GOD! Behold, I cannot speak, for I am a youth.” 7But the
LORD said to me: “Do not say, ‘I am a youth,’For you shall go to all to whom I send you, And whatever I command you, you
shall speak. 8Do not be afraid of their faces, For I am with you to deliver you,” says the LORD.

Zechariah 9:16 (NKJV) 16  The LORD their God will save them in that day, As the flock of His people. For they shall be like
the jewels of a crown,Lifted like a banner over His land—

The Lord says…
Do not bow down to Baal in fear and uncertainty of your abilities or position in My Kingdom.

Ephesians 2:4 - 10 (NKJV)
4But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us,  5even when we
were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved),  6and raised us up together,
and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,  7that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding
riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.  8For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not
of yourselves; it is the gift of God,  9not of works, lest anyone should boast.  10For we are His workmanship, created in Christ
Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

I have your back! I am your rear guard. (Is 52:12 and Is 58:8)

I go before you (Is 45:2). I stand with you at all times. I walk with you through every situation. I will not leave you or forsake you.
(Hebrews 13:5, 6)

Now, go in this confidence: I am with you always. (Matt 28:20)

If you pick up your cross and follow Me, you can not disappoint Me. You cannot fail Me. You may stumble, but you cannot fail. I
will be there, as was someone there for Me to help Me bear the cross to Calvary… (Matthew 27:32 and Luke 23:26)

Only in that you will not be moved by My compassion and you will not Go and help My children, can you disappoint Me. Be not
satisfied with the ways of this world, be not lukewarm for that nauseates Me and I will vomit you out with the others who have
forsaken Me and my ways. (Rev 3:14-19)

Be assured, that no matter your choice in this, know that I love you deeply and unconditionally. But, I long to give you great
reward and satisfaction in your life as you diligently seek after Me, as you hear My voice and follow Me, as you build My
Kingdom soul by soul.

Isaiah 58:10 - 12 (NKJV)
10 If you extend your soul to the hungry And satisfy the afflicted soul, Then your light shall dawn in
the darkness, And your darkness shall be as the noonday. 11 The LORD will guide you continually, And satisfy your soul in
drought, And strengthen your bones; You shall be like a watered garden, And like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail.
12 Those from among you Shall build the old waste places; You shall raise up the foundations of many generations; And you
shall be called the Repairer of the Breach, The Restorer of Streets to Dwell In.

Psalms 91:15 - 16 (NKJV) 15 He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and
honor him. 16  With long life I will satisfy him, And show him My salvation.”

The Lord says…
Now, therefore, change your mind about yourself. Let Me show you who you are in Me. Choose My ways. Step out in new
hope, new faith, new confidence.

Romans 12:2 (NKJV)
2And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you
may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God
.

Ephesians 4:20 - 24 (NKJV)
20But you have not so learned Christ,  21if indeed you have heard Him and have been taught
by Him, as the truth is in Jesus:  22that you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt
according to the deceitful lusts,  23and be renewed in the spirit of your mind,  24and that you put on the new man which was
created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.

Knock and it shall be opened to you. Seek and you shall find. Ask and I shall give you all that you need.  (Matthew 7:7-8)

Come to Me now all you who are heavy laden and I shall give you rest. (Matthew 11:28)

Be encouraged and of good cheer. Look not upon your circumstances, look at Me.

Trust Me

Be Confident in Me

Speak life and blessing.

Speak My Word!

You, my rocks, I shall use to build my Kingdom… says the Lord.

Deuteronomy 30:1 - 20 (NKJV
19I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and
death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live;  20that you may love the
LORD your God, that you may obey His voice, and that you may cling to Him, for He is your life and the length of your days;
and that you may dwell in the land which the LORD swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give them
.”

Romans 8:6 (NKJV)
6For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

1 Peter 3:10 - 12 (NKJV) 10For “He who would love life     And see good days,     Let him refrain his tongue from evil,  And his
lips from speaking deceit. 11    Let him turn away from evil and do good;     Let him seek peace and pursue it. 12    For the
eyes of the LORD are on the righteous,     And His ears are open to their prayers;     But the face of the LORD is against those
who do evil.

James 3:7 - 10 (NKJV) 7For every kind of beast and bird, of reptile and creature of the sea, is tamed and has been tamed by
mankind.  8But no man can tame the tongue. It is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.  9With it we bless our God and Father,
and with it we curse men, who have been made in the similitude of God.  10Out of the same mouth proceed blessing and
cursing. My brethren, these things ought not to be so.
